Dedication Weekend

Both sets of Grandparents came today! We dedicated Hannah and Bethany to Jesus this morning at church, then came home to spend some good family time. Thank you Granna, Figgy, Grandaddy and Pop for a great day!

Fashion and Failure

The fashion ensembles Charis creates are definitely NOT a failure. They're bold, they're layered, they're pleasing to the eye.

The homemade kefir I have been attempting this week HAS been a failure. I can barely even dare to sniff it, much less take a sip. Any undercover kefir experts out there among family and friends, who can tell me why mine is so unpalatable?

Johnny and Jake Suspense

Mike told the girls one of his famous Johnny and Jake stories tonight. Oh, the suspense! This man can tell a story.

Sitting Pretty?

The world is much more fun to look at for Bethany, now that she's starting to sit up.

Hannah is saying all kinds of words now, things like "giddyap hosie" and "sop it"... the cutest baby talk.

Charis decided she wanted to learn to write her name, so she's trying to refine her autograph.

Sweet, sweet days here! But sleep is still not our thing.

Princess Drama

Today was Pop day, and we couldn't have done it without him! Bethany rolled over for the first time, we had a dance party, and Bethany and Hannah got 9 vaccinations between the two of them. Big day.

A Grand Weekend

We did some traveling this weekend, and we got to see both sets of grandparents! Bethany met two of her three Great-Grandmothers, Grandmommy GG and Kenny, for the first time. (She had the pleasure of meeting Great Gran'mommy Gallagher over Thanksgiving!)
