Baby Update

Here's the latest baby info for those who want to know!

At my checkup today, I got an ultrasound to estimate his weight. They calculated about 8.5 lbs, which is big but not as huge as we thought. So my Dr suggested that we wait until 39 weeks to induce labor.

We decided to wait until next Wednesday, which is a little over 39 weeks, but that's when my doc will be there instead of another one of the practice's doctors.

I'm a little bummed that today wasn't baby day, but I'm hoping and praying to go into labor naturally, so that gives us some more time. I'm so thankful that he seems to be very healthy!

Last Days with "Just the Girls"

Here are some pics of our last days before Baby Brother comes! Included below: Hannah with a baby in her belly, Pop day, visit with Mr. Dave, and the girls playing in the dirt last Friday because it kept them all in one place so I could time my contractions during what ended up being false labor. Busy week!

I think (and hope) the little man will be here this week.  We're all so excited!

More slushy adventures

The girls had a great time playing in (and eating) the snow, slush and mud we've had these past few days. I snapped a couple pics of these precious sweeties in the snow.

As we excitedly await Baby Brother (due date is 3 weeks away), Bogey has developed separation anxiety.  He follows us around the house all day now. The lady I spoke with at the vet's office thinks he perceives the impending arrival of a new baby, and feels nervous about it. Poor fella!

Sweet Baby Girl!

Pete & Sally stopped by for a visit today, and we got the pleasure of seeing cousin Susannah! The girls were pretty charmed. :)

Richmond Climate

Winters are pretty mild here compared to Winchester. Earlier this week we got some snow accumulation and played outside in snowsuits and boots. Today it was warm enough to melt the snow and give us an afternoon at the park!

The stifling, humid summers and tornadoes are not quite so loveable in my opinion. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

These girls are becoming their own unique little people more and more each day.  It's fun to see their personalities (and hair-do's). Little "Beppie" (as she now calls herself) is the girls' snuggly little darling. Her big sisters adore her. Except when she eats their lipgloss.

5 weeks (or less?!) til Baby Bro arrives!!!
