"When your house is topsy turvous, and your nerves are getting nervous..."

Bethany, desperately trying to see Mike's car pull in after work. She kept saying, "Almost... almost."

Credit goes to our Dr Seuss movie for today's title, which cracks me up every time I hear the cat in the hat singing it.

We found a house in Mechanicsville and will be moving on May 31. Not a single box is packed thus far, but we'll get there. We had a great Mother's Day with Pete, Sally & Susannah!  I got a mean tick bite and am being treated for Lyme. The girls are cute and crazy as ever.  Mike is busy keeping up with the emotional ups and downs of four females in this house. Nathanael is gradually outgrowing his colicky stage, and his hair is extremely cool. Both hampers are full of dirty clothes, and there are piles and piles of clean laundry waiting to be folded.  That's an abridged update!

We love all of you! Please come visit us in Mechanicsville this summer.

Susannah Jane

Hannie has been wearing this coat buttoned up to her chin. She gets sweaty, but there is a price to beauty.

Little Hannaroonie

Hannie has grown, changed, and hit so many milestones lately. She is our resident drama queen. Tonight at 10:15 pm she was crying in her crib, calling for Daddy. When I went upstairs, she smiled and said, "I want to tell you a poem. The Daddy take the doggie to the doctor, and he didn't make a peep but sleep sleep sleep." I asked if that was why she was crying, and she said "Yes. Because I want to make you a poem!"

Hannie is now a "big girl" who has given up her binky, and no longer wears a pull-up at sleepy time!

Bethany's favorite sayings lately include, "Kayiss (Charis), noooooo." And "no ma'am, Mommy." You'll often hear any adults in our home saying, "Bethany, don't eat dirt. Don't drink from Bogey's bowl. Don't play in the potty."

Charis is a sweet little Junior Mommy who is outgrowing the beloved afternoon nap. She's currently the manager of our cup of caterpillars, which we hope will hatch into painted lady butterflies in a few weeks. She chooses her own outfits, is growing her hair long, and requested a diamond necklace and engagement ring from the Costco catalog for her 5th birthday.

Nathanael is 2 months old and a smiley, squishy, cute little fellow! He's still colicky in the evening sometimes, and still wakes twice at night to eat.  He's a great napper though.

Approximately 4 weeks remain until we need to move. And we still have no idea where we're going. Yeeeeehaw! That's all the updates for now!

Pics!

In no particular order: children's museum, visit with the Ackers, and Pop day (telling stories, eating dirt, etc).
