"The shad are runnin'!"

Pop let us in on the fishin conditions down this way, and he brought all the tackle for a family fishin trip on Pop day today. So after a morning of vaccinations (ow!), we're enjoying a peaceful evening on the Mattaponi river, thanks to Mr. Cunningham's dock!

"I'm going out to mop the fresh grass."

Could we just mop the kitchen and dining room instead?

Charis wore her princess dress on our walk this morning. I in yesterday's jeans and tshirt, hoping to go unnoticed, and she in her sparkly tulle, pushed her stroller beside mine. She stopped, waved and smiled at a neighbor we haven't met. "I love him," she declared. Well, we are supposed to love our neighbors. Another cheerful wave and smile to the UPS man as he delivered a package down the street. "I love him," she said. "I think his name is Uncle Bill." She hasn't met a stranger yet.

Hannah is talking more every day, and Bethany had her first bites of baby food!

I've been wanting to post for so long! We have pics from all sorts of visitors - Pete & Sally, Granna, Grandaddy, Kate, Chip and Pop, and Petey again! We LOVE visitors!!
