A Few Seconds to Reflect!

We're about to start the last of three marathon weeks.  We're trying to pack & clean up our rental house, paint & fix up our new house, and keep a head count of the children in the process!  The kids have been absolute troopers, hopping in the van with me at a moment's notice and driving back and forth (35 minutes each way) from house to house about a million times so far.  It's a good thing we keep schooling through the summer, since we need a little extra flexibility during these crazy weeks.  It's taken a small army of family and friends to help us get ready to move, so I tried to picture just a few of them on this post.
Also last week, Mike and I celebrated NINE years of marriage!  Actually we didn't celebrate at all, not even with a high five or frozen dinosaur nuggets this year, but we're hoping for a date sometime this weekend while all the kids are with family. :)

And finally, Bubby James turned two years old!  We're having trouble owning up to the fact that he's a full-fledged toddler.  Being the youngest in the family means he still gets treated like a baby most of the time. I have to admit I still hold him on my hip a little too often, but we're just savoring the little guy. He's not the least bit ready to start potty training, and this time I'm not rushing it!

The new trampoline has been a lifesaver to help the kids get wiggles out while we work on the house.

My friend Jean has spent hours helping us paint!

Aunt Sarah and Mom brought all kinds of great food & crafts and watched all four kids for an entire day.  Auntie S helped Hannie sew her first little project, a sock monster. They were even brave enough to stay for a sleepover - so fun!

Erin & Boaz babysitting

Brendan, our friend from church - he can do anything!

Both sets of parents came for a work day on 2/27.  What would we do without these people?! Charis took pics of everyone.

Grandaddy painting a bedroom.

Granna has been taking on Bubby duty!

Pop & Mike built the trampoline in the back yard.

Shannon & her son James are my lifesavers for babysitting when things get a little overwhelming!

Guarding the ramp.

We need coffee.

Good morning!

Trying to keep up with reading & math.

They might be consuming a few more chips, cheese balls and Stauffer's frozen meals than normal.  But there are fresh fruits & veggies included too, I just don't have a pic of them!
Fun birthday time with Grandaddy & Granna this past weekend!
