Five!

Our second baby girl turned FIVE! She was so excited about her birthday. She was so excited about the dresses she received for her birthday. Sweet girl loves anything that sparkles and looks glamourous. She's our imaginative kindergarten artist and designer. We like to remember the peaceful, dark, quiet early morning when she made her debut into the world and met her Daddy and Mommy for the first time. I called her my "joy baby" because she slept and smiled all the time.
We love you, little Hannie, and we love watching you grow up!

A little birthday dinner to celebrate her b-day, just the six of us.
Hannie chose strawberry cake with strawberry frosting at the grocery store. If you don't like strawberries, or maybe even if you're deathly allergic to strawberries, don't worry. I read the ingredients, and this cake didn't actually contain any real strawberries at all. Just puuuure chemicals. Mmmm.

Lovin' her glitzy dress from Aunt Sarah & Uncle Steve
This is the kids' new adventure in our yard: make a mud hole! They gave up on wading in it and put on swimsuits so they could get a running start and splash on in there. The best part is that I have a great view of the mudhole from my cozy chair in the living room, so I can have coffee and read in the quiet house while they splash! Perfect!
